AUTOMOBILE STORAGE MANAGEMENT DETAILING

• Booking acceptance form filled out with your details, vehicle condition and
mileage recorded, keys handed over.
• Digital photograph any imperfection on the vehicle and report to the
owner via e-mail.
ENTERING THE STORAGE FACILITY:
• Hand wash and leather dry.
• All fluid levels checked – oil, water (including antifreeze mixture strength)
and brake fluid moisture level.
• The vehicle is inspected and digital photographs are taken. This
information is then emailed to the vehicle owner for their records. We keep
one set for our records.
• Tyres are over inflated by 50% to ensure ‘flat spotting’ does not occur.
• Car parked in the dehumidified storage facility in its own allocated bay.
• Battery connected to automatic battery conditioner at all times.
• Fitted car cover applied. (upon request)
DAILY:
• Walk through the car and check for any leaks and general condition on
the car.
• Dust and wipe down the car.
• Check the battery conditioner and the charging level on the
battery.
WEEKLY:
• All fluid levels checked
• Engine run for several minutes to ensure proper system functions.
• Detect any malfunction on the vehicle and fill the report. This is send to
the owner for his knowledge and to determine the procedure to repair the
problem.
MONTHLY:
• Engine run up to operating temperature.
• Car moved to maintain lubricated gears, seals, and to avoid tyre and
bearing flat spots.
• Car placed on our internal rolling road which can simulate driving on the
road enabling all the gears, bearings, seals, clutch and brakes to be lightly
exercised (optional).
• Battery electrolyte level checked and topped up if necessary.
REMOVAL FROM STORAGE:
• Tyres pressures reduced to relevant operating pressures.
• All fluid levels checked.
